STAGE HYDRO-QUÉBEC

This first stage is an incredible splendor for the spectators.  the river skirts a panoramic road that is unique and so beautiful à that time of year.  After leaving La Tuque, the paddlers will go through Rivière-aux-Rats where the crowd can applause them from close by. After that, Grande-Anse and Matawin present sites again easily accessible for the patrons to closely assist at their performance.

Then, direction St-Roch-de-Mékinac where the participants will arrive on the ground of the Municipality of St-Roch and the Old Mill Crête by the end of the afternoon.


The finishing of the paddlers always gives the spectators  indescribable emotions. The team are welcomed by nourished cries and applause. The first stage is completed, MAY THE FUN BEGIN!

On this first stage, all teams have 7 hours and 30 minutes to complete it.  Over that period of time, all teams and paddlers will be disqualified from the race.
