Two rower Canoe (C2) is the oldest race of La Classique.
The boat must follow the standards of the north-american circuit.
Since 1934, C2 is the pillar discipline of La Classique Internationale de Canots de la Mauricie. The two brothers, Serge and Claude Corbin, as well as Irwin Peterson, Andrew Triebold and Steve Lajoie, are recognized as legends of this competition. They made La Classique history by repeatedly winning this challenging race. Furthermore, La Classique is the last step of the Triple Crown. The Saint-Maurice river remains a major challenge for these athletes.
